Dromon, έξοχη επιλογή, είσαι ο πρώτος που ανεβάζει τον ελληνικό υποτιτλισμό αυτής της υπέροχης ταινίας. Τους έψαχνα χρόνια. Σ' ευχαριστώ.

Ευχαριστώ, koutsodontis. Ναι, δεν υπήρχαν τόσα χρόνια ελληνικοί υπότιτλοι, μάλλον επειδή στην ταινία μιλάνε συχνά και ισπανικά μαζί με τα αγγλικά, οπότε έπρεπε να βρεθεί κάποιος που να γνωρίζει και τις δύο γλώσσες.

Από τις εξαιρετικές αμερικάνικες του '80 και '90.
Από το 2000 και μετά το σκηνικό άλλαξε άρδην.

Σ' ευχαριστώ κι εγώ, φίλε μου. Εννοείς ότι μετά το 2000 όλα έχουν εμπορευματοποιηθεί; Μάλλον έχεις δίκιο, αλλά πάντα υπάρχουν καλές ταινίες. Προσωπικά, ψάχνω και σε κινηματογραφίες εκτός Χόλιγουντ για να βρω αξιόλογες ταινίες.

[ One cannot live without love. ] - Against a background of war breaking out in Europe and the Mexican fiesta Day of Death, we are taken through one day in the life of Geoffrey Firmin, a British consul living in alcoholic disrepair and obscurity in a small southern Mexican town in 1939. The Consul's self-destructive behaviour, perhaps a metaphor for a menaced civilization, is a source of perplexity and sadness to his nomadic, idealistic half-brother, Hugh, and his ex-wife, Yvonne, who has returned with hopes of healing Geoffrey and their broken marriage.
